BRUCE A. OUSLEY, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Bruce Ousley has practiced Optometry since graduation in 1982 from the University of Houston College of Optometry.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.).  After receiving his O.D. degree, Dr. Ousley completed a residency in rehabilitative optometry working with low vision patients.  For five years, Dr. Ousley was a staff optometrist and Chief of Optometry at Cigna Health Plan of Houston.  He moved to the Lewisville area in 1988 to begin the present office of Ousley Vision Center.  Having gone above and beyond in meeting the needs of patients, people in the community and the eyecare profession, Dr. Bruce Ousley is awarded the 2006 Regional People First Award.

CAMILLE C. OUSLEY, O.D.

Dr. Camille Ousley began her optometric career in 1987 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry.  Dr. Ousley held a prestigious position as a Contact Lens Specialist at the renowned Ophthalmology Clinic at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.  Dr. Ousley worked at the medical school clinic for five years before devoting all of her time to sharing Ousley Vision Center with her husband Bruce.

MELINDA S. HOPSON, O.D.

Dr. Melinda Hopson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1989.  Originally from upstate New York, she attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Cum Laude, in 1984.  After working one year as a biomedical research technician at Albany Medical College, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and proceed to optometry school.

LYNN, CPO, Employee Supervisor

Lynn is an AOA Certified Paraoptometric.  With her Business Degree from Texas Tech, Lynn oversees the business side of our optical department.  She has been with Ousley Vision Center since 2003.

She also serves as our Privacy Officer for HIPAA compliance.

DAWN, CPOA, Adminstrative Supervisor

Dawn is certified by the American Optometric Association as a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant.  She has an in depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of our practice.  She has been with Ousley Vision since 1995. 

KATY, Administrative Assistant

Katy handles patient billing and insurance processing.  Katy also has experience in our optical dispensary.  Katy has been with Ousley Vision since 1999.

Collectively over 25 years in the optical industry.  Lisa, Julie, Kerri and Jackie stay updated on current styles and trends to assist patients in choosing frames that best suit their age and lifestyle.  They interpret eyeglass prescriptions to provide the best lenses and coatings to properly correct the patients vision.  They are also available to adjust and repair glasses when necessary.

Jo, Cyndia and Jennifer work under the direct supervision of Drs. Bruce and Camille Ousley and Dr. Melinda Hopson.  They collect patient data, administer preliminary tests of the patients visual capabilities, and assist the doctors in patient care.  They also handle all the contact lens orders and any questions concerning contact lens care.  Cyndia has been with Dr. Ousley since 1999.  Jennifer joined our practice in 2004.  Jo has been working with Dr. Ousley since 1992.  She has been fully trained in all aspects of our practice including preliminary testing, contact lenses, optical and administrative tasks.
