They interpret eyeglass prescriptions to provide the best lenses and coatings to properly correct the patients vision. They are also available to adjust and repair glasses when necessary.

The Paraoptometric Technicians work under the direct supervision of Drs. Bruce and Camille Ousley, Dr. Melinda Hopson Bradley, and Dr. Amy Clem. They collect patient data, administer preliminary tests of the patients visual capabilities, and assist the doctors in patient care.
